Husein Moloo is the founder of Highpoint Developments, founded in 2007 with an initial focus on student housing catering to Queen's University Students, it has grown into a much larger development company with projects throughout Canada. Hussein has a Master’s in Public Health from Brown University, an MD from the University of Calgary and a Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene from the University of London School of Tropical Medicine. Having worked at various hospitals and Humanitarian efforts, he also founded PurposeMed, a virtual healthcare company that provides complex care to underserved communities in Canada. He is the recipient of the EY Entrepreneur of the year award for the Prairies in 2023, and has been recognized as Calgary’s 2023 Top 40 under 40.
ALY MOLOO
SVP, Development
Aly has been a senior member of Highpoint Developments since 2018 assessing new development and expansion opportunities. Aly has extensive experience regarding rezoning, amendments, site plan approval, and regulatory approvals, and supports asset management and investment. As SVP of Development, Aly oversees the entire development lifecycle, from conceptualization and feasibility studies to construction and project delivery. He actively engages in leadership initiatives, contributing to discussions on sustainable development, urban planning and innovation within the property development landscape.
LUKE JOHNSON
VP, Business Affairs and General Counsel
Luke provides legal and commercial advice and oversight at Highpoint Developments. Luke holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta School of Business and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law. Prior to joining Highpoint Developments, Luke practiced corporate and commercial law in Calgary and Edmonton at a leading national law firm where he specialized in infrastructure development, capital projects, commercial transactions, and M&A. Luke also developed his experience in construction and procurement matters during his time as a seconded legal adviser on the Trans Mountain Expansion Project. Luke is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association.
CHRISTINE SINCLAIR
Director, Corporate Operations
Christine Sinclair has been with Highpoint Developments since 2020 and serves as the Director of Corporate Operations, a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence and organizational alignment across the company. She leads core business functions and oversees strategic initiatives spanning human resources, marketing, design and operations.
Christine plays an instrumental role in enhancing international communication, supporting executive execution, and fostering a high-performance culture. Her leadership ensures the seamless coordination of people, processes, and priorities, strengthening the organization’s internal infrastructure and reinforcing its long-term strategic goals. She holds a Human Resources Certification from The University of Calgary.
ABRHAJIT SHAW
Controller
Abhrajit Shaw serves as Controller at Highpoint Developments, overseeing financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and compliance across the development and construction platforms. He brings more than 13 years of experience in senior finance roles within multinational organizations, with a strong background in financial management, performance analysis, and strategic planning.
Abhrajit is a CFA Charterholder and a Chartered Accountant, and he holds a Master of Finance from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He is currently completing the CPA Canada Common Final Examination.
ANI HERNANDEZ
Accountant
Ani oversees the company’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books, preparing reports and processing accounts receivables and payables for all Western Canadian projects. Ani holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Havana and a Diploma in Accounting.
MEGAN DUNN
Administration and Legal Assistant
Megan Dunn provides administrative and legal support to the Highpoint Developments team. Her responsibilities include scheduling, contract coordination, document management, and general office operations that support development, construction, and corporate functions.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Calgary, a Legal Assistant Certificate from SAIT and plays a key role in maintaining organization and continuity across teams, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.
